A precolonial type town nestled in a dense woodland of the Onabe Mountains. There is an apothecary here who keeps incredibly detailed journals on the things he does with his preparations.

That First Town (WIP name) is situated in the forest just up the Cloud Dragon River valley, allowing it to keep touch with downstream commerce yet still maintain an independent agricultural and hunter-gatherer lifestyle in both the surrounding woods and the cleared area of the town.

Setting notes: Cahokia, Mississippian type tech level and aesthetic touchstones. Population of up to a few thousand. Government structure to be determined. Semi-agricultural with significant foraging in cultivated forests, especially for unusual variants of magical plants.
