Détails
The Onabe Mountains are an old mountain range covered mostly by forests. On its peaks, forests are replaced by shrubbery and rocks, but no peak is tall enough to reach a snow line.
The Onabe Mountains are dominated by a mountain climate, with hot dry summers but cold moist winters. Although the temperatures are fair most of the year, the winters are cold enough for snow to remain all season.
Forests are exclusively coniferous, but they tend to mass only in higher altitudes away from river valley. In particular, the valley of the Cloud Dragon River has no forest, due to persistant human occupation.
